Having A Boy

When I found out I was pregnant the first thing I wished for was for my baby to be healthy, never mind the gender. The second thing was: "Okay maybe I do care about the gender. Can it be a girl?" Of course I wanted a baby girl if only for the clothes!!

Fast forward to ultrasound day. Turned out I was having a boy. I won't lie, I was a bit sad. My husband on the other hand was secretly rejoicing as he wanted a junior. But what about the clothes?? Go baby clothes shopping and 80% of the items you see are for girls. That was truly my main concern.

Of course everything was forgotten the moment I held my little boy in my arms. I was sad for nothing. SM and H&M have pretty cool clothes for boys. :)

My cousin Vina, who is currently pregnant, came to me a few months ago looking very down. She had just come from an ultrasound and she's to have a boy. She took it harder than I did. She was also worried about the cothes. I told her it was going to be okay and that everything will change once she holds her baby in her arms.
